Pool/Spa remote that controls pool and spa functions, lights, water features, cleaners, sanitation systems. |
Auto Fill
Replacing water in pool due to water evaporation and splashing water out. |
Beach Entry
Area in shallow end that goes from 0”-18”. Beach Entries are in larger pools as they take up a lot of room. |
Bubblers
Water columns added to shallow ends of pool. LED lights can also be added to bubblers. |
Cleaners
Pool cleaners are needed to pick up debris daily in the pool and they vary from suction cleaners, pressurized cleaners, electric cleaners or automated “in floor” cleaning systems. |
Construction Drawings
Detailed drawings of radius and dimensions of pool. This is normally needed for HOA or city permit approval. |
Consultation
Appointment with customer usually at their home to look for access, utility location and property elevation, as well as yard size, assessing sprinkler system and getting customer’s wish list for their pool. We then get plot plan and draw pool and their home to scale in 3D for customers at no charge. |
Coping
The 1 foot stone product that is on top of the pool/spa beam. It can be flagstone or brick or man-made stone (i.e. Boulder Formations) |
Decking
Area surrounding pool. Deck is formed according to plan and is shaped with form boards and re-enforced with steel rebar. Concrete is poured and cures for 3 days before coating is put on top. This coating can be pea gravel, straight sun deck, Inlaid decking or inlaid with stone pattern. Area drains are added at this stage. |
Electrical
5th step - all equipment is wired and bonded with a #8 copper wire and pool steel and lights are bonded at that time as well. |
Excavation
1st step - Digging of the swimming pool with machine and pool shape is outlined with form boards set to pool elevation. |
Filters
There are 2 types of filters, DE and Cartridge. DE allows you to run the water flow in reverse thus discarding all dirt particles in filter. Requires a backwash line and P trap for sewer. Cartridge Filter has 4 large filters. It has a larger surface area for filtration. Filters can be removed and cleaned if needed. Filters should last 3 years before needing to be replaced. |
Gunite
4th step - concrete material that forms the shell of the pool. It is shot in with a high pressure hose. Minimum thickness is 6 inches. |

Lights (LED)
Multi-colored lights for your pool that have different light shows available. (i.e. 4th of July – red, white and blue) |
Plumbing/Pipes
3rd step - main drains, pool returns and water features' pipes are all laid in trenches around pool and pressurized. |
Sanitation Systems
3 types:
Chlorination Towers (traditional chlorine used to control bacteria).
Salt Systems (uses salt which turns into chlorine but at a much lower and even level).
Ozinators: UV lights/Oxygen used to control bacteria.
***Some of these systems can be used in conjunction with each other. |
Sheer Descents
Sheets of water that come through raised walls or spa spillway. |
Skimmers
Set to get the best water flow thus attaining the most efficient water turnover in the pool. Leaves and other debris get sucked into the baskets for easy removal that should be checked regularly. |
Stake Out
Allows us to layout exact pool’s shape physically on the ground in customer’s yard with stakes and paint. |
Steel
2nd step - re-bar is added after excavation to form structural integrity of the pool. |
